Hello! I’m Helen.
Here is a bit about me. I am a Catalyst , Igniter of Possibilities and Transformational Guide. I am known for intuitive insights, out of the box solutions and bold ideas.
I started my business because I wanted people to know that who they are matters! That they have the ability to heal themselves and their lives regardless of what life may throw at them.
I am an INFP Aries, an explorer of life, a life long learner and practice the art of discovery on a daily basis.
My qualifications are varied to say the least. I am a trained CTI Co-Active Life Coach, Reiki Practitioner, Chrystal Healer and Oracle Card Reader, just to mention a few. I also have a degree in Urban and Regional Planning (long story that is thirty years old…) and spent the first part of my working life in the corporate world. Ten years ago I decided to become a soloprenuer. It is one of the best decisions I ever made!
So how did I get here?
In 2006, I was going through one of the darkest periods of my life, suffering from a second bout of depression in less than a year. I was working in the corporate world in a job where I wore two co-ordinators hats. My personal life was a mess to say the least.
One day I had a discussion with a person in human resources. She asked me to describe my job and what it entailed. When I finished she asked me a curious question. “Was I an introvert or an extrovert?”.
I honestly had no idea what the difference was. She suggested that I take the Myers-Briggs personality test and find out. I did and discovered I was an INFP (Introverted, iNtuitive, Feeling, Perceiving). In that moment of clarity, my life changed.
I realized that not honouring my authentic self as an INFP was contributing adversely to my health, happiness, self worth, self esteem and confidence. I was living my life by what others wanted, needed and expected me to be.
I had been out of alignment with my essential self for decades and my life had been way, way off course. I now understood why.
I decided to discover and explore what it meant to be an introvert and specifically an INFP.
I re-calibrate my life and addressed what being an introvert exactly meant for me, and how it would impact my life.
I re-learned how to show up in my life in a way that served my highest good and ultimately those around me.
I created my own rehabilitation program for my introverted Soul. That meant understanding and learning how energy, intuitive abilities, old belief patterns, thoughts and the processing of information impacted me and what best self care practises I had to implement.
Self-discovery, self-knowledge, self-realization and self-compassion along with a whole lot of love have helped me heal.
I now know who I am and live life on my own terms, embracing the real me.
My life’s journey has been like a tapestry, woven in intricate patterns with beautiful colours. Some brilliant and some dark.
I have had such amazing experiences in my life. They have provided so much joy in my life that it makes my heart sing whenever I think about them.
Things like seeing the Grand Canyon for the first time, flying over the Rocky Mountains or the Scottish Highlands, the sparkle of a new fallen snow, laughing with my best friend until we cry, watching my husband win the club curling championship, the gurgling of a stream, or the sun setting over the water and so much more!
I have also experienced the heartache of trying to be an introvert in an extroverted world, depression, having a stillborn, a divorce, the loss of jobs, having my father die in my arms and seeing my Mum lose her short term memory from a brain bleed.
I knew that on a deep level there were greater lessons that I was learning but not aware of yet, my Soul was evolving and it was all part of a Divine plan for me.
My Divine Plan
This is something that is revealed to me on a daily basis. Like new puzzle pieces falling into place. It is ever changing.
I have been interested in people’s wellbeing for my entire life. Even as a young child I understood how important it was to make people feel welcome, comfortable and supported.
At an early age, I was intuitive, empathic and compassionate. I could sense when someone was out of sorts or feeling sad and had the knack of helping them feel better. These gifts have flourished and are cornerstones of my life today.
All that I have experienced in my life, the good, the bad and the ugly has provided me with the most extraordinary wealth of knowledge and understanding for myself and my clients.
What I do know is that healing is sacred and unique to each individual. Empathy, compassion and the ability to create a safe and nurturing space energetically for my clients is key for their Soul’s to heal.
My life experiences allow me to honestly say to my clients “I have been where you are”. I understand the ‘way back’ from events that shatter your life. My superpower of compassion and ability to ignite the possibilities in people’s lives are the foundations that help bridge the gap between what was and what can be.
that you are not broken.
every catalytic event that happens in your life is an opportunity for your Soul to grow.
that healing your heart is the first step on your journey to wholeness.
empowered changes in your life are driven by clarity and ignited by passion.
in the power of letting go.
